By when do I need to graduate to be eligible for the programme?
You must complete your degree by September 2026 at the latest.
Can I apply if I haven’t graduated yet?
Yes. At the time of application, you only need to upload your most recent transcript showing your academic progress.
Is the application procedure different for each university?
No. The application procedure is the same for all universities within the consortium.
Can I choose where to start my studies?
It depends on your admission type:
• If you are awarded a scholarship: your first hosting institution will be assigned by the consortium; you will choose the second one with your tutor.
• If you are not awarded a scholarship: you are free to choose your first hosting institution.
What are the application deadlines for the IMQP program and for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship?
The application deadlines are published each year on the IMQP official website. Please check the "Apply" section for the updated dates for both program admission and Erasmus Mundus scholarship applications.
Can I apply for the program and the Erasmus Mundus scholarship at the same time?
There is only one single application. After the selection process, scholarships are awarded to the top-ranked candidates. All applicants who achieve a score of at least 70/100 are entitled to enroll in the program, even if they are not awarded a scholarship.
What is the minimum GPA requirement for admission and for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship?
Applicants are generally expected to have a strong academic record. While there is no fixed GPA threshold, competitive candidates usually demonstrate above-average grades.
Which English language proficiency tests and minimum scores are accepted?
IMQP accepts internationally recognized English proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge English qualifications. Native speakers or applicants who have completed previous studies in English may be exempt. No minimum scores are requested.
Are there specific academic or professional background requirements?
Yes. Applicants are expected to hold a relevant degree in prehistory, archaeology, heritage studies, or related fields. Professional experience in these areas is considered an asset .
Is there a limit to the number of Erasmus Mundus programs I can apply to in the same academic year?
